It's not everyday that i do a back to back release but this time, i think it is quite necessary. The most notable change in this new release is the reduction in the damage versus super-units. Most of the damage done have been toned down and further tweaked to make sure that super-units are still useful, but at the same time you can't
overuse them.
Besides that, there are quite a number of small balancing tweaks, build menu rearrangements and Arm Nova from Mayhem Inc/Aftermath Design. There is a patch for both 2.0 and 2.1 users to update their copy to 2.15. However, those who have version 2.0, only the Normal/OTA versions of 2.0 can be upgraded to 2.15.
If you have downloaded TAUCP 2.1, don't worry - there is a patch for ALL The PC versions (TA:M, TA: Commander and OTA/Normal). Here are the files:

I've also added an online manual link near the top of the page. This online manual is the exact copy of the TAUCP Manual that you see in TAUCP itself. Only MSIE users can view the manual properly and please wait until everything is loaded before you proceed to read, because it'll take some time to
download it into your cache :)

After much tweaking, retweaking and testing - TAUCP 2.1 is finally up for grabs! The number "2.1" reminds me of my old TA Units Independancy Pack way back few years ago. This new version contains the MOST number of tweaks that i've ever made for a single release and this is all thanks to
the feedback that Agent McHale and Tyfighter gave me at the discussion forums.
The game is much more enjoyable now (at least to them and myself), but i'm sure you'll have a blast with all the new tweaks and stuff. Just make sure that you read the version history while downloading TAUCP 2.1. This new version supports the recently developed TA Commander mod switching tool by me22. TA Commander users will
need to download BOTH the TAUCP 2.1 AND the Rev31.gp3 Setup program that will install the files according to the mod switching tool that you are using.
As i have promised, there is a patch for those who already have 2.0 and this time, the patch can be used by TA:Mutation users as well ! So TA:M users need NOT download the full version of TAUCP 2.1 to enjoy it, you just need the TAUCP 2.0 to 2.1 patch just as long as you have already installed TAUCP 2.0 with the necessary files.
There is an option to select between Normal/OTA and TAM when you run the patch installer, and after that it will patch your copy accordingly. The patch is however, much larger than the previous ones that i have released partly due to the new format in TAUCP 2.0. The file size is now 8 MB (not too bad actually). Anyway, here are the files :

The biggest change in this new release is the stand against super-units. There are now more units that does special damage against super-units which now includes Guardian, Punisher and many others. Check the TAUCP Manual or TAUCP Unit Descriptions document for the complete list.
Even with this change, super units are still powerful when used properly, but there are more units that can counter them now. Apart from that, a lot of Original TA (OTA) units have been modified to make them more useful and to a certain extent - more powerful than before.
Make sure you read the readme (version history especially) and i hope you'll enjoy this fine release !
